For this Out of the drawer SALE edition, I used the block from the original reduction print. After completing the original multi-color edition, only the carved block with the final color layer remained. I printed this remaining layer four times in Paynes Grey, creating a much simpler, single-color version of the original design.

The Stikke Hezelstraat has been part of Nijmegen’s streetscape for centuries. Its name comes from the local dialect: stik means “steep,” referring to the street’s downward slope. A characteristic water channel runs down the center, adding charm for visitors of all ages. From this low perspective, the historic façades and the depth of the street are beautifully highlighted, while the flowing water brings the scene to life.

Printing Method
Printed using a single remaining layer from the original reduction printing block. Each print is hand-printed using a glass baren, making this a small and very limited edition.
Because of the handmade process, colors and details may vary slightly, and the print and paper may have imperfections. They are part of the character of the work.
Each print is signed and numbered on the front.
The image shown is for reference. Colors may appear slightly different on screen. As prints are individually numbered, it is not possible to select a specific number in advance.
All rights remain with the artist, also after purchase. This artwork may not be copied, reproduced, or used in any form without the artist’s written permission.
Frame and passe-partout are not included.
