Leaves fall, branches reach out and the trees hold their breath. In autumn Awakened, every step along this path feels charged with quiet anticipation. This print is designed with a a picture of a path in the “Goffertpark” Nijmegen next to me. It’s familiar to many soccer-fans walking to and from the stadium. The title reflects that tension: the tress themselves seem to pause, ready form what’s next.

Printing Method
Printed using the multiblock technique. The multiblock technique uses separate linoleum blocks for each color. Each block is carefully carved and hand-printed in sequence, allowing precise registration and vibrant layered effects.
Each design is transferred by hand onto the linoleum block and carved using Pfeil gouges. Every print is hand-printed using a glass baren and sometimes a press. Due to the handmade process, colors and details may vary slightly, and the print and the paper may have imperfections, including slight color misalignment in multicolor prints. They are part of the character of the work.
Each print is signed and numbered on the front.
